I didn't know dental hygienists worked on their own...is this new?
A:
In 2007, Ontario amended the Dental Hygiene Act to allow duly authorized hygienists to "self initiate", which means they can plan and provide care independently.

What if my Dentist has special instructions?
A:
I work with your dentist and consider their input. I will also refer you back to your dentist or other health care professional suited for any suspected concerns that may arise when visiting with me.

Do I have to change dentists if I see an Independent Dental Hygienist?
A:
A common question and the answer is absolutely not. Your choice in respect of hygiene care has no bearing on your choice of dentist.

Do you accept Insurance?
A:
Yes, I can bill most insurance plans directly for your convenience. Also accepting government plans such as NIHB, ODSP, Healthy Smiles, CDCP (the new federal dental plan).

What type of payment does Smiles By Kelli Lennon accept?
A:
Cash, EMT, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Debit.
